Hey friend, let’s chat for a second.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to absorb the energy around you? Someone is impatient, and suddenly you’re rushing. Someone is joyless, and suddenly your day feels a little dimmer. Someone is unkind, and suddenly your heart feels guarded.


But here’s the thing: you don’t have to take on what they put out.

The Fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—aren’t dictated by the world around you. They come from within. They come from God.


Don’t Let Them Steal Your Light

  • Don’t let loveless people keep you from love.

  • Don’t let joyless people keep you from joy.

  • Don’t let those without peace take away yours.

  • Don’t let the impatient steal your patience.

  • Don’t let those who lack kindness make you unkind.

  • Don’t let negativity dim your goodness.

  • Don’t let doubt shake your faith.

  • Don’t let harshness take your gentleness.

  • And don’t let chaos pull you away from self-control.


Because what’s in you is greater. The world didn’t give it to you, and the world can’t take it away.


Stand Firm. Live Boldly. Be the Light.

Life will always present challenges. People will test your patience. Situations will try to drain your joy. But you get to decide how you respond.


You don’t have to match the energy of the world. You can rise above it. You can stay rooted in love.


So today, take a deep breath and remind yourself:

✨ I will not let the world steal my light.

✨ I will not let others dictate my joy.

✨ I will walk in love, in peace, and in faith.
